Another one bites the dust.
Hi All,
Well yesterday it all happened, an offer of £29,000 had been made for my 2012 Discovery 4 Luxury with a mileage of 22,000 last week. A deal was struck for a Jaguar F pace 240 2018 Demonstrator and yesterday was exchange day.
Must admit it was very sad but very rewarding all at the same time. The Discovery is by far the best vehicle I could ever had wished for but my needs had changed so much that it just was'nt getting used. It sat in the garage for best part of the year only coming out to tow the twin axle tin tent maybe once or twice, for servicing and MOT. I had down sized the tin tent so a smaller SUV would now suit my needs. I have test driven everything in the range that I require, the only one that really passed the test was the F pace (but even that still has its limitations). After 12 years of Disco ownership there is still nothing that can touch it.
I have remained in the JLR fold so not strayed too far and wait with trepidation on the arrival of the new Defender if it ever happens.
PS Will have a few bits for sale soon ie unused spare wheel and tyre, RLD's wheel protector, detachable tow bar. I will takes some photo's and put them in the For Sale section in a few days time.

Yes everything good this end. Trust all the family are well. Have’nt spoke to your dad for some time trust they are both fighting fit.
Real sorry to get rid of the disco4, but I could see it depreciating very quickly in the next couple of years.
To much will start needing to be done so cut my lose’s. Offer I could not refuse.

That's a cracking price on a 2012, I did a quick WBAC check yesterday and my 2015 Lux with 54K got an offer of just £500 more than yours
