Another what’s it worth thread |
|
Unfortunately it looks like the D3 will have to go to pay some bills, but I’ve no idea what it’s currently worth, or how much work it’s worth doing to it.
Its a 55plate D3 HSE in Silver, that cleans up OK when I get around to it.
It has 116K miles on it, but it had a new engine, radiator and Turbo at 37K miles on warranty.
I’ve not done the full 105K miles service yet because of the engine change.(might do it before it goes)
I’m the second owner, and have had it two years.
It has a full LR Service history up to 87K when I brought it, and I’ve serviced it myself since. I have a spreadsheet of everything that’s been done to it in my hands. For example I’ve changed the oil, filter etc every 7.5K miles.
Being an HSE it has everything in it, although it didn’t come with Bluetooth, so I’ve put a Parrot 9200 in it which of course also gives Ipod/USB etc connectivity.
It has a fixed towbar and electrics that I put on, it wasn’t used for towing beforehand and I’ve only used it occasionally to tow my boat.
It has General AT’s on it which have done over 20K, the fronts still have @5mm on them and are very evenly worn.
The rears have @4.5mm on them but the inside edges are worn more.
Front ARB bushes have been replaced with Polybush items.
It has a slight knock on the front end but I’m not sure now that it’s the lower arm bushes as the front tyres are so evenly worn.
The front Parking sensors play up sometimes, but I’ve identified which one is playing up and have a replacement ready to fit.
Other than that it’s a great car that will be sadly missed by the whole family.
What do we think it’s value is?
Possibly for a quick sale?

They seem to fetch around £13-£14k for that spec/mileage
