Has anyone Disconnected ARB (sway bar) for offroad?

I'm curious of the benefits.

I'm planning a 24hr. off-road challange with some pretty technical terrain and can use all the travel and stability possible. I know our cars do the cross-link thing, but the swaybars (ARB) are pretty stiff anyways....

I just want the car to stay as level as possible through some sections, if it leans too much, it can make the body hit rocks/trees/mud walls/etc....

Has anyone tested the dissconnect?

Thanks!
