Anyone fitted allmakes 4x4 drilled and grooved discs?
As per title really?
Any good? The rears on ours will need doing sooner rather than later I suspect and saw these on a search.
Cheers

Not Allmakes but Bearmach variety (are probably the same). I have them on my V8 together with EBC pads, wouldn`t have anything else. Good grip and wear levels seem good also, I do a lot of towing and they are excellent.
If you are interested I`ll sort a price for you next week?

you'll always get different views with aftermarket parts. I tried Britpart discs on my old D3, and couldnt get rid of the brake shake, so ended up taking them off and fitting genuine bits. If something is cheaper, there's usually a reason (and OK, its hard with LR mark up sometimes to justify paying their prices)

Gone - MY18 D5 HSE - Corris on 22's with Black Pack
Now gone - MY16 D4 SE Tech, Loire Blue, Almond Leather, Privacy, plus some other goodies.
Old - MY12 D4 SDV6 XS Auto - Ipanema Sand with Almond Leather - Plus other niceties, and D4.com sticker
Older - D3 TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV - and obligatory D3 sticker
Ancient - D3 TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD
if Allmakes & Britpart did the testing and engineering specs into their brakes as much as LR did then theirs would be roughly the same prices, cheaper is never always better
i heard a story recently where a major aftermarket supplier sent discs to China to be copied and yes they copied them alright, even the balancing drills and mills maybe you had some of them alTLO has left the building.......

The usual price is not much different to the discounted LR price from you Nick but it was just that I could get these about £35 cheaper, also when I fitted crossed and drilled discs to the D2 it helped with brake performance.
I may well pass on these for now and see how long I go on the existing ones
A fellow forum member pointed out to me that drilled and grooved discs are excellent at picking up and trapping stones, sand and mud between the pad and the disc! Very good observation I thought Andy
