Thanks for the reply.

I think you're right, it has to be a wheel problem.

I'm going to refit them & change the wheel placement.
I've had them balanced twice!

Thanks again

the tyre guys was right, LR never fitted 20's to the D3, only the D4 but loads of us have run 20's and 21's on D3's with no problems.

Thanks Al,

It's been a nightmare.
The 20" wheels are like new. And they're fitted with Michelin Latitude sport tyres. Like I said, I believe they came from a 2017 Range Rover Sport.
The wheels are like new condition, barely a blemish on them & the tyres look excellent too, evenly worn, about 5 or 6mm.
I changed front lower ball joints, steering arms. Rear prop centre bearing. Thinking these would be the cause of the vibration.
Obviously not!
I've put the original 17" wheels back on & absolutely no vibration.
I'm going to fit the 20"s again and move each wheel round one position. Then look at each wheel as the wife drives the car.

If I was you I would take the car to a good tyre place, preferably with a hunter road force balance.

They will spin each wheel up and you can soon tell if the wheel is bent or buckled.

I would very much doubt that you would see anything from watching.

I had a terrible vibration issue when I picked the car up. Turned out the tyre had a can of that puncture goop sloshing round in it and when over 50 ish the centrifugal force pinned it to one place and threw the balance way out.

Hi Phil,
Thanks that is great advice and something that I certainly hadn't considered.

On the last test drive. I got the wife to drive the car.
I leant out of the rear door windows & could see the o/s/f wheel bouncing up & down at speeds over 55mph

I'll get the tyre taken off & checked.

And will find somewhere that does the Hunter tracking. 4 wheel tracking.

Thanks ever so much for you valuable advice.
