Anyone have a gap iid tool in my area? Or just for sale?

Hi all my D3 has just come up with an engine management fault.

Does anyone have a test tool nearby and willing to pop over to run a test?

I have done a hard reset and it now seems to have cleared the fault. And not in limp mode.


Still if anyone nearby has one. Id love to be show how it all works and read this car.

Nope. Fault light back on. Not in limp mode though....

Anyone got a gap tool for sale?

On an 07 it’s almost always the EGR valves sticking. Bodsys Brake Bible

Does that for with this behaviour. Started up with fault. Drove 2miles on the a3 pulled over (normal running temp) stoped and poked the car. Unlocked and retstarted waiting with ignition on for 10sec before cranking. No fault. Drove through some haiiry flooded roads for a further 6 miles. The lights did not return. Parked up at home for 16 mins. Now she’s run up fine. I have just started her again and bumbled around the driveway with no fault

(Comment - she seemed “exhausty” when I started her am this morning...)

Thanks NJSS. For the Tool. I have to work out what the myriad of codes are now Smile. Light has not come on today. But I’m happy to have a tool to investigate these things.

Ok tool results





I have cleared them for now. They did not return Yet. (Some others did for the body. That I’ll have to look into)
