I am the first to admit my knowledge of D3s is crap. I am at the point i have put my D2 back k the road till I can either sell the abomination, after having a too close to call near miss with is going into limp mode my confidence is dented with it...
I was wondering if by chance there was anyone local to me that would be kind enough to come out and have a looksee and diagnose of it for definite before I sell it for spare when it could be an easy fix...
Tea coffee and biscuits or something stronger on tap....
Many thanks

Yeah they are really good but at this present time for reasons that I do not wish to go into on an open forum it is not a realistic possibility.D3 06 Manual Poverty Spec, but commercialised and ARB front Winch bumper

what are the issues you're having ? … with the car that is.
maybe some of the clever on here will be able to help you remotely ?
Bought the D3 back in July, only put it on the road at the start of Aug, it was doing only short journeys it had been intermittently surging the revs but all the gear changes were smooth, then needed to go to Lincoln, e-w 40 miles 20 miles down the road the goes to limp mode after heavy acceleration it coughs and clears it and get to Lincoln... Then does it again on the way back, this time it wouldn't come out of Limp Mode without being turned off. The error I got was :

Subsequently the rev fluctuations got worse and I have now taken it off the road and put the D2 back on as I cant be without a vehicle at the moment.
I tried checking the auto-box oil level but the previous owner has managed to round the Allen key slot on the level plug, as I was going to stick some Dr Tranny in at the same time. Never having had a vehicle with a Torque Converter dying before Im not sure if it is that causing the rev fluctuations or something else...
I get the impression they saw me coming when I bought it and have ended up with a right lemon...D3 06 Manual Poverty Spec, but commercialised and ARB front Winch bumper
