it's quite common for folk de-EGRing to totally remove the 2 pipes that go from the top of the valves to the throttle body thing and those are obvious when missing and don't have covers Pete

I have some EGR pipes that I removed from my 06MY TDV6 - complete with blanking ends - that I will be posting in the For Sale section very soon.
Fit these and the tester will not be any wiser.
The part numbers you need are:
LR066839
LR066841
Almost £400 if you were to buy these parts new from LR.

Hello everyone, I have a quick question for you EGR experts...
I’m mid way through replacing both EGR’s on my 56plate D3, I’m also considering blanking them off so it doesn’t need to be done again, however would they not be better off being blanked between the cooler and the valve? surely that would stop any carbon building up in the valve?
I assume the valve has to stay connected? Just a case of blank and remove the butterfly thing??
Thanks in advance.

if you blank them you don't need to replace them
if you replace them you don't need to blank them
pointless doing both...…………………….. Pete
