| Anyone near st helens with an iid tool? |
|
Hi all
Wondering if anyone is near to me Rainford, near St Helens)that can spare the time to read my fault codes annd look at live data for me
My 06 D3 idles poorly and engine is missing at low revs, apart from this it runs fine once driving and accelerating, no smoke etc
Lumpy idle whether hot or cold with stuttering until past atound 1500tpm
I need to check
Oil temp sensor functioning ok (read this can cause problems)
Live values from injectors to see if readings are in line with norm
And anything else that pops up!
I have already changed fuel filter suspecting bad batch of diesel
Added plenty of injector cleaner
Its had egrs blanked for 3 years
Have cleaned maf sensors
Added diesel biocide to tank prior to filter change
Checked hoses and air intakes
New battery a few weeks ago
Alternator putting out 15v on start up dropping to 14.2 after a drive

Thanks chaps i know Mick and will give him a call if the prognosis is known if the job is beyond my own capabilities 
Just looking for someone to read the codes first to give an insight
No EML light so hence want to look for any codes and live values which can steer me A steer to route cause👍 ....................................................................................................
