Fired mine up on the timer last week just to prepare it for winter after shoving a glug of redex in the tank to give it a good clean out. I seem to be getting a regular 'sensor overheat' fault. Anyone know where I can purchase a new sensor ?
The only sensor that I am aware of being available from LR is the water sensor LRO04235 - About £15 list.
Other than that it is glow plug - which is also used at the flame detector LRO10329 - also available for about £125 list.
There is also a seal and fixing kit, both less than £5 each.
I assume all plus VAT
All as listed on the TB - LTB00337v4Mark.
2006, D3 SE Auto - gone but not forgotten.
2014 BMW 530d M Sport Tourer.
1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500

Frost on grass when walking dog, so must be cold enough for the FBH? But it did not fire up this morning ...
...coz I am working from home 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
Set timed climate for first time this morning .... was 7 outside so guess it wouldn't have fired up but was still nice to get into a warm car Cheers Ian

Well started it up at 5degs this morning, no smoke so not sure if it was working or not.
Couldn't hear it like I could with my old freeby td4. Shall need to check this out.

Only had my disco 55 plate a few month and mine fired up this morning so at least I know it works. One question though it kept running for about 2 minutes after I turned the ignition off is this normal?
