Smile Not Riverside, Newport Pagnell, given Jag XF courtesy car which amazingly has same gearbox with same hesitance but clunks on changes down, overall not a patch, apart from handling, on the D4. Smile

Cheers Lukey.

Would be nice to be able to do this via the key FOB without the hazards on.

Hi DG., love to but do not have technical knowledge, I do know that when starting up there is a hiss like lorry air brakes and it sits up again. I'll have to check again, it's just had, yesterday, 2 software updates and a new brake switch, so far a lot sharper on gearbox side and hesitation gone, time will tell. Let you know about suspension. Cheers Lukey Thumbs Up

Never heard or seen of one lowering and raising automatically unless you are driving over 100mph ...I think you have a fault if it is as you describe Thumbs Up

Off Topic sorry

But how do you make hazards go without getting in a D3?

My 2009 D4 does this also - not all the way to access, but it definitely drops a couple of inches, there's a hissing and everything Smile

Oh, and it would be good to hear your opinions on Stratstone NP - I live in the town, but bought my D4 from Stratstone Aylesbury, with a service plan. If all goes to plan, I'll be using the NP branch for servicing over the next couple of years, would be good to hear an opinion on the customer service received.

Hi Dick, yours seems to act same as mine, I thought that was full access obviously not but definitely lowers a couple of inches with the hissing etc. As for Stratstones NP. service and customer care brilliant, even got valet inside and out, no probs as yet.
Cheers Lukey Very Happy

Both - do you park up on a slope? Are you sure that what you are seeing isn't just the car levelling itself which always happens once you switch off and open/close the door?

Yes as discoteca points out what you are likely to be experiencing is auto levelling rather than a defined lowering to access height....the control modules wake up every few hours just to monitor whether the vehicle is as level as possible if not it will let out some air. This process is commonly known as the "Disco Fart" Smile

Mine does this to, MY'12, the drive only has a slight slope to it, but I also noticed in the dealers in their flat car park. You lock it, walk away and a few seconds later it drops down to access height? It does not seem to do it all the time though.
