Can i ask you guys for some advice.had the 06 hse with 63,000 on it for a month now ,all so far has been well but for a niggling feeling that there may be something wrong with the auto box.I have read loads of articles on this site and none seem to match my concern and i have no prior experience with an auto as this is my first time driving one .
Whats bothering me is that the car seems gutless bellow 2,000 rpm,i cant feel any judder,as talked about in other posts here, but with past experience with manual boxes and clutches ,i would say it feels like its slipping. The car takes off like a scolded cat if i boot it above 2000 , and the box seems to change around/close to this figure when driving normaly. All seems well once in 3rd and 4th or higher, thats why i have discounted the EGR problem,i could be wrong, that i have read about on here.I have not seen any fault lights since getting the car. What i would like is someone that has prior knowledge and experience to try it ,as i have none.Maybe they could pay me a visit if they were in my neck of the woods ( Carlisle ) this weekend, and take it for a run up the road.free tea and biscuts. lol.
