England 2015 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Lux Auto Fuji WhiteDiscovery 4
Aux battery kaput

Optima Yellow top is on it’s way out, wondering if I go like for like or if there are any suggestions.
Needs to fit behind N/S boot panel in a 15MY D4 Paul.

06 Java Black HSE - gone
12 Baltic Blue HSE - gone
15 Fuji HSE Lux
Club Biscuits, mmmm nice!
Traxide/Luna hybrid & Yellow top
Some Prospeed bits
+ some other stuff

I had the choice of a new YT or one of these a few years ago when my YT died a grizzly death. Bigger capacity at half the price ISTR, slightly bigger physically but nothing too bad. Not missed at best and been drawn pretty low a few times (50c inside the car and Engel on freezer mode at -18c all day) but always recovered fine. Thumbs Up

I had one of them in my D3 for years and had no issues.

Be interesting to see if it fits. D4 MY15 SE TECH
D3 gone but never forgotten.

no idea if any would fit, nor on how good they are, but Halfrauds have 20% off leisure batteries at the mo ! (and tradecard knocks even more off !! )

Size wise i'm limited as it needs to fit behind N/S boot panel due to S/S fitted. will have a look at what's been posted along with the Odyssey options.

Paul, you'll need to have a gel battery that's sealed such as an Optima or Odyssey battery as yours is mounted on it's side if I remember correctly. Any wet lead acid battery is a no-no in that area even it if fits. 1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Did the bracket ever go into production for mounting the battery. D4 MY15 SE TECH

If you mean the auxiliary original for the Stop & Start system.....

Andrew - didn’t work due to shape of rear panel & never review sited for a variety of reasons.

Yes it’s side mounted due to lack of available space behind panel so aware I need to consider that.

This is a separate battery to power fridge & other ancillaries. Not stop start or cranking battery Paul.
