that is obviously the ideal Mikey, but the first time it happened, I didn't know it was going to disappear, the next two it was six thirty in the morning on the way to work, its not always very convienient. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Yes. The car "reboots" itself with an ignition cycle, and usually clears the issue/warning light. In this case though, it appears that a fault code is not logged, hence my suggestion of leaving it running My D3 Build Thread

Going out again on Saturday fully loaded with dive gear and it started again, stuttering evey few seconds so it definately wasn't the brake switch.
Yet again it was at a time when I couldn't just call someone out or go to a dealer, as Hess knows its an awful long way from Otter Ferry to anywhere. Stopped and let it sleep and its been fine again, just wish it would do it when I can get to a dealer without switching off.
Has anyone else had this problem and what was found, it is far more serious a problem than the hesitation as it is unpredictable and you can start accelerating then you get a big stutter which can be right in the middle of traffic. Joined the BMWX5 45e group
