awning lights
contemplating awning lights for one side of the car (where the awning is, funnily enough). Any experiences of these
(saw a build thread using something similar here)
or are people using these instead?
cheaper and stick on. Any experiences of disadvantages with the latter, except maybe a bit more exposed to wear and tear?
Can't find lumens output easily so not sure about that.

I use a reel of LED rope lights that are water proof, made up a cable that runs from my cigar lighter in the caravan, and these either hang off the caravanstore side awning or the Isabella
and they have lots of different setting for colour, flashing etc so I can have disco lights whilst drinking my G&T, adjust brightness by the remote control too, only about £13 from Banggood

I've got a self adhesive LED strip enclosed in a silicone type finish, just stuck it onto the backing plate of the FW with a quick release connector, works a treat, I should have used a strip that was more yellow in colour to help keep the bugs away.
5M of the waterproof LED strip & some fixings all for less than £25, allowed me to do 2 awnings & a bit left over for in the boot.Paul.
