Backlit Homelink buttons?

Have not seen a posting on this one, but hope to get some feedback.
Even though this is a RRS question, I believe it is pertinent to this forum. It looks like the rearview mirror is the same in both the LR3 and RRS, and my Homelink buttons are not backlit. Either my unit is defective, or LR neglected to install this convenience feature.
Any and all comments appreciated.
Thanks

Is this not for our US friends who wander out of their home state ? It allows them to find their way back again Wink

Or Is Home Link not a delivery company over here in the UK ?

Not having SatNav I am only guessing here of course.

"Homelink" are buttons on the rear view mirror that can be programmed to open garage doors and turn on the lights.
My buttons are not backlit, so it must be a RRS thing. Id bet the actual rear view mirror is the same, just the lights are not plugged in.

Hi Tim, Yes if you find a fix for the lights we would be interested in it. Bob
