For a D3 you want two of the RRS front badges, the RRS rear badge (which is designed to fit on a flat panel) will not fit without trimming the extra plastic surround off it which isn't going to be easy or much fun to do

Disagree - very easy to get the badge off and then all I did was stick them over the existing badges.

If you stick it over the existing one it's going to be sticking out and not flush like the original, sounds like half a job VA!

The back one does not stick out - the front one dues a little but not much. All I'm saying is that this an easy way but maybe not the best way.

It is, it really is Smile

I'd disagree with that. Sad Had a load of trouble getting the front one off. Drilled a hole near to the edge and got one side up, but as I pulled it the badge, it kept shredding. Took ages to get all the bits off. Must have used extra glue on mine.... Looks great when done, though.

Slimer - can the wheel badges be changed?

Did one in the centre first - large enough for a decent size screw driver, but couldn't shift it. Ended up putting a second near the edge to try and prise it off.

Flippin 'eck. My early 80's classic Lotus has black & silver badges as its a limited run edition - much prefer the green / yellow ones but to change them all costs Hundreds ...

thought my badges may have arrived by today - they didin't.
thinking though i should take the green ones off whilst i have a few days of rest. question is, what is it like under the badges. is area reasonable enough to leave until the new ones are stuck on???

Yep - front grill painted underneath IIRC, and back just clear plastic like the rest of the handle unit.
