Not sure if this is a Technical or Maintenance issue but I have just had my 24,000 km service done by an independent Land Rover Service Centre and they reckon there is excessive wear in the front ball joints. I have only very slight non uniform tyre wear, but is wear of the ball joints common or something that is part of the overall front abnormal tyre wear /alignment problems.
Thanks,
Barry.

the dealer changed mine after 70,000km when I complained about steering knock on very slow bumps, I think it's not common for the late models, mine is early 05MY. '05 LR3 HSE V8 - Adriatic Blue - Larini Exhaust System - Lamp Guards - Dual battery system - Hidden 12k winch - Rasta Sump Guard

Some of mine were done at about 20000km (and after 11500km in the Top End of AU). Symptom was rattling/knocking over rough terrain.
