A-bar

As you said Ron, it's straight off the bumper and moved to the non winch A frame. Might just be the pic, heres another.

Good pic, I take it then that there are holes in the A-bar that line up with the plate holder or do you screw into the A-bar, which is what I asked in the first place.
I ask because I fitted the A-bar last week & cable tied the plate on while I was waiting for the holder.
Which came today, hence my fitting the plate/holder/A-bar. question'LARA'

The mirror Bling was already on the car when I bought it. I had loads of bling stuff as per the list below already fitted. Could be that, that drew me to the car, but I'm a bit more 4x4 than Bling TBH.
My backing plate is screwed to the A frame and the plate is fixed by double sided sticky pads.
I didn't fit it and some mates at the local bodyshop did it for me so I can't give any hands on info.FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

Dealer fitted the A frame on delivery and fixed the number plate with self tapping screws. Although the screws are fairly long they did not hold particulary well in the foam A frame with the result that soon after the plate became loose. I used some even longer screws, being careful not to overtighten them and touch wood the screws are still holding. However, I would not recommend using this method.*Disco3 7-seat Auto

I initially screwed mine into the foam of the a-bar and the first lot of water i went through they popped out on one side.
I then loosened off the a-bar and bolted the number plate through the a-bar, recessed the nuts into the a-bar, cut off the 4-5mm of bolt and tightened the a-bar back up.
It aint going anywhere now.
