A bar & spotlights

Anyone know how easy the standard A frame with spots is to fit & roughly how long does it take as I don't fancy working outside on the drive for too long in this weather!!
Thanks

its easy enough, but 3-4hrs outside to be honest. Can be done quicker when you have the knowledge. Also you need to consider some of the push clips on the bumper will be brittle from the cold so maybe now is'nt the time to tackle this unless you have a heated garage Thumbs Up

If you include the wiring for the LR lamps then definitely more than 3-4 hours. It involves cutting holes in the dash, tapping into CJB, BJB and light switch connectors, and is a right royal PITA! At least the lamps can be mounted on the A-bar inside.

I fitted A bar myself with help from pics on this forum. Reckon it took about 2.5 hrs all told, quite straight forward although the clips at the bottom front of the wheel arch are a right bitch to get on/off. Scariest bit is how easy the front of the car unclips/screws and what it looks like minus bumper, lights, grill, etc. If you are doing it yourself all i would say is be methodical and make sure you have released all clips/screws before putting pressure on a part as they all come away quite easily once all the screws etc are removed. Glad i did not pay the stealer £££'s to fit it in the end though and reckon i could do it in half the time now!! good luck
