Batteries, Does size matter?

Hello again

I have just been fiddling around under the bonnet of my new D3 and noticed that the battery clamp and cover weren't in place.
I found them in the boot but when I tried to put it all back together I noticed that the battery is way too big for the cover or retaining strap to fit on.

Could this cause any electrical faults or problems down the road?

Cheers

Probably an 019 rather than the correct 017

Apart from potential mot fail due to loose battery probably not and I dont think they are allowed to remove the covers to have a look so not really an issue if so?

I'd, at the very least, make sure that battery is lashed down.
You don't want it falling over or tipping up and leaking acid everywhere.

The Battery cover is also there for a reason, I believe for Battery temperature , not just to look pretty.
