Fast charging a battery regularly will shorten its life as will a battery not being kept fully charged. Regular topping up with a low amp charger is the way to go for a long life, this is why even low amp chargers reduce amperage output as the battery is charged until they may be charging as low as half an amp or even less. Thumbs Up
