Will your system work for USA based vehicles as well? In terms of pricing posted, is that with VAT included what you have listed in the forum post? Does it include upgrades?
Finally, at that price you get the full system which will do both the fault disgnosis as well as settings changes.
Er wait, one more question. The USA vehicles are set to nag every time we get into the vehicle and lock out nav changes. There is a vehicle setting for other countries which changes that restriction, but the dealers are not allowed to make that change. Can your software do it?
Sorry lots of questions, but I am about to buy a LR3 and would like to be prepared. I can't stand paying others to do work I am comfortable doing!

Hello Scot, yes our system is 100% compatible with LR3 and indeed has specific inclusion of LR3 only systems
All prices quoted would be plus VAT, we show both in our web shop. Although obviously for US customers we don't add any VAT.
Yes our Full capability software license that comes with SV222 includes all fault diagnosis capability we provide which also includes all settings edit features as seen on the board here and all subsequent upgrades to our D3 / LR3 software and its capabilities are free of charge.
I cannot quite determine what setting you are referring to, however given that the CCF data contains all configuration settings for the entire vehicle, if it is something that can definitely be changed between vehicles it will be there somewhere. As i have stated her, this is a brand new feature and we are still sorting out what does what from the many hundreds of possibilities.
I understand your sentiment, amongst the many other good other reasons, there is also a great deal of pride in taking charge and control over your own vehicle, too many times customers are told things about problems that they suspect are not accurate accounts, and so often does not seem to fit the facts. Even for those that don't try to do their own fixes, being able to plug their own system in and check what the car is truly reporting for themselves can save a lot of time, money and messing about.
In this day and age it is absolutely 100% legal for anyone to buy equipment capable of accessing the diagnostic capabilities of their own vehicle, they can even buy the same equipment as the dealer if they can afford it.
warmest regards

Why do you automatically assume that it was tidied because something was 'politically incorrect'?
It was tidied because it was becoming off topic, posts have been moved here The End

As far as I can understand the object of the exercise is to maintain an atmosphere of peace, calm and friendliness on the site, so any aggressive or inflammatory remarks are rightly removed. Mods are doing their job keeping the loose cannons at bay 2004 Discovery 3 - gone
2006 Discovery 3 - gone
2008 Discovery 3 GS - gone
2011 Freelander LE Special Edition - gone
2007 Discovery 3 XS - gone

But I fail to see what was inflammatory about those last posts... and they were not off topic but very relevant around potential warranty issues should someone use the kit on a D3 that is still covered by LR. Seems the balance of views and discussions are being tidied up all the time Making the thread very pro BBS for all aspects of what the product can do.
sigh.

I was just making a general comment, mate, supporting the mods.................haven't read the posts that you are referring to
TBH I've got completely bored with the 'argy bargy' so don't tend to read those threads anymore. What used to be a pleasant forum to hang out on has lost its charm. 2004 Discovery 3 - gone

Simon, I know you're trying to rattle cages, don't bother.
You've been around long enough to know EXACTLY how the moderators operate and why they are doing what they are.

Im not rattling cages. The answer remains unknown, and warranty and ins debates are not normally disallowed if they a relevant.
And yes, I've been here for years... and the forum TBH has changed a lot - recently especially.
But hey, its yours to do as you wish with

Si, if you read my previous post you'll see where the posts have been moved to, they were off topic for this thread so have been moved to a more appropriate place.
With regards to this being a 'Pro BBS' thread, that's hardly surprising really considering it's about a BBS product, just as the similar thread that TFC started is 'Pro Autologic' The End

Well there was a time when threads of any nature included debate, but it seems those days are gone if it involves a sponsor.
And I don't consider questions around warranty, insurance etc as not being on topic or valid.
But hey, things change I guess.
