Best method for getting fine scratches out of windscreen ?

As the title says, I have a couple of very fine scratches caused by something under the wiper blade that I could do with polishing out.

What’s the best stuff/ way to do this without ruining the screen

Cheers

Toothpaste is worth a try if the scratches are not too deep 😀

Is the toothpaste route a myth or does it actually work?

And no to the hammer route, given I don’t want a leaking screen afterwards 😉

Be careful with toothpaste
A mate of mine tried it and knackered the screen as it was one of those you use for tooth whitening so presume it had some kind of fine “grit” in it Rolling Eyes

0000 wire wool

When you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

I saw Duraglit recommended for polishing out small scratches in watch glass, and have tried it, and it works. (It’s like a metal cleaning impregnated wool). Can’t imagine it would harm a windscreen, although haven’t tried it.
