Clutch change is hardly a driveway job especially for a single person.
You're going to need an Independent LR place.
The only Indy I know is Landranger Services. They have 4 branches, the nearest one to Preston is at Atherton, Bolton. They are however, highly recommended by many posters on here.
I'd strongly suggest you find an Indy nearer to home but either way, your car will require recovering to the workshop if it's currently undriveable.
Phone Landranger, I'm sure they'll recover your poorly Discovery but a recovery and clutch change ain't cheap. 01942-888200 should find them. Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails
Make your own Narpy grill thread
I'm not scared, I'm outta here.

I did it myself at a self garage. My only previous clutch change was 15 years ago on a VW Beetle! So it can be done. Just budget in it taking you a couple of days mainly due to uncooperative bolts.
