Best price for an S or basic 7seater
Hi
I'm after an S or basic 7 seater with metalic paint (iseally i'd like an electric heated fron screen).
best price I've found for a basic 7 seat, metalic is £26250 (no heated front screen).
Has anyone seen, or been offerd any better?
thanks
hope to have a Disco 3 after 13 sterling years of service from my Disco 1

Just see what your local dealer will do for you if you take a pre-reg (january/february) car - this is what I did on my TDV6 S AutoSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Sounds a pretty good price to me.
Agree that pre-reg dealer cars are the way to go for the lowest price.
My basic 7 seat + metallic was £27,000 6 months ago - I would expect a softening of prices now. At the time I felt we had the best deal around.

ordered an S today
Hi
took a trip to James Edwards at Brock (I bought my current Disco 1 there some 13 years ago, when they where Dutton Forshaw).
Salesman really helpful without being pushy.
Got what i consider to be a fair deal.
It's a long story, but I only went to see if they had the new colour Alchamy sand in, saw n Artic frost in the showroom and before I knew it I'd paid a deposit.
So guess I can be a "proper" member now!
Where do i find these bulk acessory deals?
Thanks

Hi, came on the forum before xmas to canvas opinions on the 5 seater. Things have moved on a bit and I am now looking to sign my life away for a TDV6 S.
I have been offered a metallic S model for £30k (provided I sign before the end of March), which sounds a good enough deal. However, I have no real reason to rush to sign up to meet this deadline, so what do you think?, is this a good price or could I do better with a bit of perseverance?. Is that price reason enough to pull out the stops to sort everything out?,
What do you reckon then eh??, all views gratefully recieved!!

New Car
I have just bought a brand new HSE and paid £39,000. They were keen to seal the deal before March end and I was playing two dealers off against each other. That included privacy glass and rubbing strips. Shop around.06 Bonatti Grey HSE, Ebony Interior with Privacy Glass & Rubbing Strips.

Thanks Simkna, that's food for thought. Even with metallic at £520 (say) and the fee added on it's still about £600 less than I have been quoted, and the APR is better too.
Maybe some more shopping around is required.

This site is also worth looking at, I've just enquired, there's no admin fee, and it's all done through a main dealer.

Hillendale in Nelson will do a basic S with carpet mats, life shine, climate control, rub strips, 17" alloys and EITHER leather OR DVD for a fiver under £30k - a very good package. This was my starting point, although I took the option of having leather AND DVD (extra £1500), and added the cosmetic upgrades, towbar, etc...2005 Disco 3 TDV6 7 seater. Leather, DVD, fully colour-coded.

You sure they do an 'S' with leather for under 30K? Or is that a 7 seater with leather for under 30K?
Sounds to me like Mr Bling has a base model, not an S

So Mr Bling... ...you went for "what it looks like" rather than "what it can do" then, huh? Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
