best remap
hi i have had several remaps ect done in the past, but am wondering what you guys on here are useing, i am thinking about an imap (its the same type of thing as the evolve switch) as you can have a power, econemy and a standard map on it and switch between the 3
any feedback on your remaps would help, regards richardRichard

oddboy, sorry to be flippant. Right what you need to decide is what you want out of a REMAP, economy? performance?, permanent?, or removable.
My only recommendation is to try before you buy, plenty of guys on the forum that have done it, including me. More than welcome to try mine if in the area

TorqTune, Turbo Chip, BAS or JE, my advice would be stick to one of the well tried remaps. I run TT and TC, well happy with the remapping and service from these 2, others say same about BAS. Choices, choices - as long as you end up with a big

the switchable box bell show is the very same as imap from vantuner he did my 174ps vw transporter, i like them i do have a sprinter "superchipped" but think it might be better to have removeable on a disco, the imap is cheaper than the bell/evolve box (400) i have also used bluefin before but its not listed for disco, i have a bit of time to make my mind up as i dont pick up disco till tuesdayRichard

Personally I WOULD stick with the one's on the forum, I cannot comment of those you mentioned, only on 3 of the suggestions DSL said, I tried them and chose what I found my suitability.
Forum Sponsor tuners will help you decide, not just to take your money but the ongoing support and trouble shooting, with the knowledge of marrying their tune to the D3.
But he who spends his money, makes his decisions.

Without having to ware a hard hat lol, ill try and advise.
Be carefull of Martin @ vantuner , he USED to be a dealer of mine untill he started to rip customers of with stolen remap files and cracked ilegal software.
RE my BAS box, i agree that i may not be the cheapest on the market but as many of the forum members will tell you my aftersales support is 110% nearly 24/7 of the time.
Id like to think that the support i give and knowlage of the engine along with in-house mapping makes my tool well worth the price charged.
