Hi Ron, yes sorry realised that, what I was trying to say was even though everyone rates the valeo, provided you can buy at leisure form TLO I have found the OEM ones to be cheaper and perform as well.

I did read detail about your split one and being in the garage, I would have done same (although our local stealer would have stiffed us a lot more than you paid for sure! Shocked ).

Bosch Part Nr. A 550 S, fit, too, without noise, they´re originaly for Audi A6 etc. 8)

Strange but I went into Halfrauds today and asked about wiper blades, they did a check on Reg No and model and said they don't stock them for a Disco 3, own make or Bosch ?.

Took off Halfords and put on Land Rover (new part no.) blades. Happy again. The Land Rover blade arms are a million times more chunky in feel and easier to clip on, and swing across the screen with a robustness. Remember it is an off-road designed vehicle primarily, and should not really have to suffer flimsy copies when blobs of mud, heavy snow dumping from overhanging trees, or simply following a lorry that is throwing up water from deep potholes that's calling for original equipment parts to be used .
