Been noticing some 'squeeks' from the rear wheels at (very) low speeds for a couple of weeks now
I wonder if this could be the cause of reduced fuel economy and how simple is it to cure The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Sounds like an EPB issue... or dirt in the disks / EPB
Try a good jet washing in and around the disks etc.
I had this on the front one day driving down to Andover... pulled in at a service station and a rather generous white van man let me take 30 secs of his jet wash time to give the offending wheel a good blast.

Sounds awfy like the EPB not fully releasing. I had this initial problem only at very slow speed, but was fixed at the last service.
I'm sitting in at the moment waiting on Stratstone to come and collect my car to get the EPB module changed. 10:30am and not as much as a phone call.....not impressed. Giving it until 11am and then going to give their Indian call centre a phone to see what is going on

It sounds like its the first warnings of impending screecher!
I would ask the dealer if they would clean out the park brake for you.

Although not completely.
Called the dealer to see when someone was going to collect my car today as arranged. Guess what.....their drivers are on holiday this week. Initial response from them was oops, then mysteriously after being on hold I apparently did not have it booked in to be collected...
WTF is it with dealers when they cannot get the basics correct. So my mind is now made up, time to make the dealer switch...
Stratstones, in my eyes are totally pash!!

Mine has had the squeak from rear brakes when initially driving off for months now, dealer cleaned out P/B drums, but it returned within a week. Like ronp says, it goes away after pushing brake pedal a couple of times, (don't ask me why, as this would only move the brake pads, not shoes). I'm just living with it for now, but I expect it will develop into needing a complete P/B system overhaul / renewal in the end. Oh and jkp, I have been trying to put across the 'St***stones are s t' message for ages, but no one seems to listen.

Yup!

Well with mine, my stealer used it to fleece me for new rear discs and pads!
[I thought it strange that they wear on the rear first as opposed to the front??]
However like JKP, I reckon it's to do with the EPB nor realeasing enough!
It was fixed though when I got it back.
But then I would've assumed they'd cleaned out the EPB when replacing the discs n pads.
One year on, i still get a slight squeel every now and again after the EPB has been released.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Just got mine back from Guy Salmon Coventry ( Lynne in Service).
My EPB went on Friday of last week. Got a call on Friday afternoon to say the EPB module was knackered and a new one should be with them today and it'd be ready at 16:00. Phone call from Lynne at about 11:00 this morning confirming everything was OK and car could be collected after 16:00.
Got to dealer at 16:05 to be told that "Land Rover technical" had been out from the factory ( ) to look at my car. Turns out that "Land Rover Technical" instructed Guy Salmon to replace the discs/pads/EPB module/park brake shoes - and it was all done under warranty
45 mins later and car was ready
Turns out that too much mud was wrapped around the brakes, which caused the EPB to fail....
"LRT" said that it is an offroader and this shouldn't of happened so therefore they'd cover the cost.
All in all a good day .
Finally to round it off, it appears that Land Rover are having a bit of a clearance sale on Parts - so i've got a new A-bar coming for just over £100 instead of the £200+ that they originally quoted.
Got a quote coming on a raised air intake as well, but don't tell the missus

I'll be quoting that should the need arise The End
