A bit icy last night!

Got woken up by a crunching sound and then a very loud bang, looking out the window revealed a car had slid off the road due to black ice - if it hadn't been for the tree the car would have ended up in the park Shocked The road was so slippy this morning I couldn't even walk on it - D3 didn't even notice the ice Laughing

The whole incident was caught on CCTV

That's my neighbours new car (a 2006 RRS HSE) - my D3 was safely parked on my drive behind locked wrought iron gates.

I asked my neighbour if it was ok for my one of my cctv cameras to view across his drive, when he changed his car the camera was moved slightly back to cover more of his drive.

One of the other cameras got the reg of the car, of course the main thing is that both the driver and his passenger were ok. Although the passenger did have a bad fall on the ice and was holding his arm and limping a bit later.

I think I saw the head park warden inspecting the damage yesterday afternoon.
