I think the easiest route would be to take cable into headlining, down and behind n/s A pillar trim then behind glovebox to 12v socket below aircon unit. saves chopping cables end. Should be only a 10mins fit.

but they haven't been delivered yet so not a big issue captain. we're seeing a report of Wednesday delivery so then we (you an I ) can plan a meet  Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

Woo hoo - got mine - just need to fit it now! Anybody got some wiring instructions? Fancy the courtesy light effort myself - should be able to leave it in the D3 without it getting nicked then cos it'll be less obvious up there than on the dash.

yeah good idea I guess! We get customers chopping cables and then winging it doesn't work. Tough! You cut it to bits buddy!!!!

I think it is more of a concern that the sd cards that came with them are corrupted, so if you put it in and start it you could then have the SAME problem as the others, maybe worth waiting until they get an answer!
But in the end it's your choice

Luckily didnt try to put it together last night! So everything is still as it came in the box!
Am reading through the other thread & getting very confused as to what to do or not!

mine just arrived and has the seal broken on box so im now awaiting further instruction before i try fitting so i dont end up with all the problems some are having.
