| Blackvue camera group buy |

Have been in contact with the supplier of the Blackvue camera in Canterbury today and had a few questions answered.
The memory card is 4gig but can be upgraded to 16 gig.
The camera can have a live feed out via an AV lead to a monitor. So could be used as a reversing camera.
Spare power leads, windscreen brackets, and AV leads are all available. You can also get a power magic lead which shuts down the camera when it senses the battery is getting low, they also do a dedicated card reader adaptor.
These are obviously all at extra cost, but could be ordered if you want them.
Now for the bad news, he has informed me that the cost has gone up slightly due to import/carriage charges, I have tried to get the original price but with no joy so far, might have more luck when I confirm the numbers.

We charge £6.60 Inc VAT for P&P via fed ex which is a guaranteed next day delivery.

As a result the group prices will be
GPS version £ 148.08 plus £3 site donation.
None GPS ££125.87 plus £3 site donation.
As you will see there is a postal service via the company at £6.60 via Fed Ex for next day delivery but there is also the D3 courier network and I am happy to go to Canterbury to pick the units up and then dish them out via the network if required.
I have posted a sign up at the top of this post (I hope) and will let it run for two weeks from 6/1/11 at which point I will ask for full payment including forum donation to me within one week. I will then place the order and collect/pay for the units all in one go. I will not hand over any money until I have seen the units so as to ensure nothing happens and we do not end up out of pocket. At the end of the two weeks I will post to each person who has signed up payment details. I would appreciate anyone who wants more than one unit dropping me a PM with the number they require once you have posted on the sign up.
I am sorry the price has gone up, it is beyond my control.
I must also state that I have nothing to do with the company and am only doing this for the forum, I do not make or receive anything out of this.

hi i dont suppose they have given you the price for a 1x card reader,1x magic power leads, 16gb card as i would like to buy all together if poss with 1x gps unit. if you can supply this way can you drop me a pm with the total cost. ive looked on there site and there is no mention of spares ect so carnt find out myself.

Signed up! Looks like a really good deal and thanks for organising.
Edit: Just cancelled my sign-up as I had a rash of sanity and decided that while these are very neat, I'm not sure I want to monitor everything just in case Plod decides to impound it when I'm at fault as is bound to happen according to Sod's Law if I install one. After all a man's Disco is his (movable) castle. I think I shall get a Go-Pro HD for those occasions when I really do want to record the fun. Good luck to all of you otherwise.
