Blackvue DR650 Dual Camera problem

I eventually got the front to rear cable in place and everything was working fine.

Yesterday I decided to download and keep some videos so removed the camera from its mount which meant taking out the fragile cable connection.

On refitting it the rear camera was not live.

Removal of the cable revealed a bent centre pin. I attempted to ease it back into place but it broke off.

Called UK Blackvue and was quoted £35 for a new cable Confused

Somewhat expensive but the new one won't be back off in a hurry and I'm not looking forward to re threading it front to rear either.

So be careful if you need to remove same and I'll need to try to get the mini card out with it all in situ!

That's interesting. I was thinking I'd put it in squint so it's my fault.

It does seem very fragile to me.

I got a new cable for the Camera, stupidly ran it from back to front and tucked it all into place, hooked it up and nothing from the rear camera Rolling Eyes

The front works as normal but nothing from the rear - the little blue light does not come on so no power going there.

It's gone off to TTW for their assessment so I'm waiting to see their take on it...... Whistle

Did you take the Power off the front camera before you plugged the rear in ?

Yes, I set it up as if a new system, cables all in then power on - nothing from rear.

I await TTW's take on it but I'm not confident after a rather hostile phone call.

Let's see Whistle
