I get the same. I ended up wiping the SD card and allowed it to revert to 1.011. I guessed that 1.40 is for the original DR400G and not the DR400G-HD II.

well given the recent stengthening of the pound to the USD we can do a little bit better deal on the HD blackvues so time to refresh the group buy

its just the latest version - said to be more stable and get a little less hot.

I've been reading the blackvue posts and watching the vids uploaded. I want one
Bit unsure about wiring the unit directly into the fuses, but like the parking function idea. I may have a go at a later time if I do buy a blackvue. Is battery drain a big issue?
If I buy will despatch be straight away? And are the free extra mounts available?
