Bleeding brakes, engine running or not??

It will help pushing the pedal down but not needed to bleed them, just make sure your pipe is a good fit on the nipple and pump pleanty of fluid through till no bubbles.

Thank you Flack. I'm only replacing two rear calipers, clamping both sides, so should be minimal bleeding.
