Blind Spot and Rear Traffic detection not working

Practically 0 mechanic skills here, but thought I could at least change a mirror glass on my 2014 Disco 4.

I have Blind Spot and Rear traffic detection, so whilst not buying the £183 piece from LR, I did buy the appropriate equivalent replacement part. Upon connecting the glass I get BLIS and rear traffic deactivated warnings when putting in reverse / drive.

I then exchanged the circuit board off the back of the old glass onto the back of the new piece (which was quite clever thinking for me, I thought!), but still getting these deactivated warnings.

Is there some sort of reset needed, and if so how?

Help and advice would be gratefully received, please!

FYI, somebody on one of the FB groups I subscribe suggested that when a fault is detected, sometimes the fault indication stays there until it is cleared in the fault list even after repair.

Going to try and get ahold of a GAP IID and report back if and when successful
