Blown accesory sockets

Used my D3 on a construction site to day and I was given a beacon to put on top !
After about 5 mins they stopped working so I unplugged it from the rear of centre consul and plugged it into the front left one in the centre consul !
5 mins later caput !
I unplugged it and the inside of the socket was red hot !

Has it shagged my wiring ?

The sockets don't work and I checked the fuse and all seems OK
!

In anticipation

K

not much help to you but you can install a 12v power supply in the boot on the LHS. thats what i done, and i specifically use it for a beacon. my beacon is a pulse one rather than rotating. never any issues!! strange though! mine works with ignition on only.

What sort of beacon?
The old fashioned halogen/rotating mirror ones draw over 12A per bulb.....

Modern LED ones draw substantially less than than, but are much more expensive to buy.

Which fuse Question there are seperate fuses for each socket

front row ( not ciggy )- fuse 34
2nd row - fuse 19
3rd row - fuse 47

They all come from a relay in the fuse box aswell

Hi Wiggs

The front left accesory charger isn't working !
The front right one I didn't use so it's still working !

The one under the aux socket in the back of the centre consul is inop as I used that one too !

I've checked the fuses they are OK !

Damn,
