I have bought one of these, which allows me to play music from my Iphone via bluetooth in the car. The unit simply plugs into the aux socket (actually mines tapped into the aux from the passenger footwell, and I have also permentanty connected up its power to keep it charged). Works a treat, no cables up front to the Iphone. £10 !

when I use a mini phono lead to play music from my ipod or iphone on the car's stereo the volume is a bit low. Is this the case with this gizmo as well? VR6 > 330D Touring > D3 HSE > !?XC90?!

Seems to work fine Paul, you need to ensure the volume on the ipod/iphone is right up though. Club N.E.R.D's

You need to use the Line Out output from the iPod/iPhone dock connector rather than the headphone jack. The headphone output is limited deliberately to protect your Britneys. 2021 BMW iX3 Premier Edition in Carbon Black ⚡️🔌

I have been road testing one of these for a few months now ...... Wireless connection between phone and audio unit for anyone who has the LR base audio unit.
Comes with in built in rechargeable battery, charging lead and 3.5 mm to phone connection lead
Well worth doing and an iPhone paired to it for streaming music works exceptionally well - volume on phone needs to be only half way with good quality signal giving good audio out . Musicians on the move without the spaghetti of wires
Worth a tenner of anyone's money
N.B - excellent indoors too connected to the surround sound or hifi unit to Stream direct from the armchair about 8 meters range

Usually the signal comes from the headphone socket. But the vol is also low using the multi-pin connection on the iphone with a SIK Imp cable direct to the aux socket in the rear of the D3!!
Just found loads of site message alerts in my gmail Spam folder so been missing replies to threads. Sorted it out but they previously went straight to inbox. Google making unwelcome decisions for me again. VR6 > 330D Touring > D3 HSE > !?XC90?!

Had exactly the same lately. See here. Appears to be fixed again now (until Google decide it's spam again).
Is there a user-configurable white list/black list in Gmail? I don't remember seeing one anywhere.

Try adding the sender to your contacts. AFAIK marking conversations as 'not spam' moves those messages only to your inbox but not future ones from the sender.
To do this open a message from a sender who you want to save from going into the spam box again.
After opening the message you will see a small passport-photo icon to the left of the sender's name.
Hover the mouse cursor over this icon and a small box will appear with the option to 'Add to Contacts' in the bottom left corner.
Click 'Add to Contacts which will take you to the new contact's details in your Contacts folder. That should do it.
