The BMW Car Club of America has created a very tight bond between the BMW firm and car club. Club members who purchase BMW product in the U.S. are given a $1000.00 dollar rebate. BMWCCA Ombudsman can speak directly to BMW tech support. Perhaps DISCO3 could create a liason with the Ford luxury car group. This might allow one member of D3 to directly contact a designated Land Rover service representative. I have recently purchased a 2005 LR3 and a 2006 LR3. I have found BMWCCA model useful during my past 25 years of BMW ownership. While BMW is a respected company today, my initial 320i in 1980 was very problematic. If LR can resolve environmental, labor and technical quality issues, it may find itself a powerhouse 25 years hence. Nice to read all your great posts and hope to contribute over time. Perhaps this becomes the basis for an international LR owners group.
