I just wanted to post a reply of thanks, to Bodsy on servicing my D3 '56' plate.
With 156k on the clock I was suffering all the symptoms of gearbox judder, hunting revs and now what I can tell was sloppy gear changes.
Bodsy came to my place of work, a gear box flush later (bluetooth update, fault code read out, and FBH purge) and a bucket load of support and advice on D3 ownership. I drove home with an even bigger smile on my face, than when I brought my truck.
I strongly recommend having your inners flushed, even if its only preventative. Bodsy also offers a number of other services and its worth reviewing these with him if he is heading your way.

On my list for next year to have Ian attend to my Disco the difficult bit is going to be deciding what to have done.(SWMBO wouldn't see any boxes)  He was going to be local to me but as it had other issues and needed work for MOT I decided to wait so he could drive it first to get an expert opinion of it prior to doing work on it. Mine has been remapped but difficult to know how good the map is.

Hi All
I have a 2009 Disco 4 that has 103k on! I’ve been told the belts were done but have no record of it apart from a 16/4 written under the bonnet which may or may not be the date they were done!! Anyhow I plan to keep it a couple of years so want to give it a major service including belts and a gearbox flush.
Can anyone on here do all that work and any other sensible recommendations? I’m not in a massive rush so some time the first half of next year would be great.
Also any ideas on how much I should budget?
