Bonnet decall respray
The bonnet lettering was starting to loose paint around the edges. Unwilling to spend 70 quid on LR advertising (they should give them for free IMHO if someone wants thp put them on their hood) I heated them with a hairdryer, flossed them of, bit of sanding, 10 layers of black smoke paint and got this as a result.
A before and after piccie.
Gave me also the opportunity to polish the front of the bonnet properly. The old decalls shadows were still visible which made it easy to put the new ones on again.CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

Nice one
I had mine sprayed along with door handles... but in the meantime liked it sans lettering better than with !

Excellent, just a question how did you reattach them?

First I removed all tape resedu from the back and then applied 2mm doublesided Tesa tape. Just thin strips. Then heated the bonnet and tape and firmly pressed them on. Stuck like glue. CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

Interesting, I think that's the first Disco not to look "bare" without them - D1 & D2 looked weird without them IMHO.2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +
