Place is 40 mins away, so might have a drive over if no one has got one.
Cheers,
Darren.

Talk about off topic....
Yep they still do, and its still full of dammed tourists
Fortunately I live in the next village (Meltham), so I don't have to deal with them all the time.
Cheers,
Darren.

Had one of those liners in my Mercedes estate.
The square you can see in the middle is grippy rubber and does a good job of stopping stuff rolling around.
The rest of the liner is pretty low grade 'vinyl' type material. That isn't a critiscism, it does exactly what it is designed to do. It was quite robust and fitted perfectly the contours of the car.
The only problem I had was because it is semi-rigid and the Merc' had underfloor storage, you can't just flop it over on itself when you want to get underneath it like the all rubber mats you get. You would have same problem if you want to use the 3rd row seats in a Disco'. It also won't roll up and tuck in somewhere if you need it to, again like a rubber mat. If you don't leave it home then it would be a pain if on the journey you needed the extra seats, etc.

Sounds like what I'm after, so I'll prob. pop over Friday/Saturday to get one. I'll report back especially if they're a reasonable quality and fit.... for the price

I have one, they do the job but be warned there is no trying to put it somewhere if you need to use the 7 seats, it is awkward to fold, although it does come folded and you leave it for a day or two in a warm area to get back into shape. What I did find was that the centre is rubberised, this means that although it stops stuff slipping, when you are trying to drag something out it does its job a bit too well I have reverted back to my LR rubber mat which catches any rubbish and small amounts of liquid. Hope that helps

Cheers Discotres (Gracias), something I'll bear in mind.
My previous estate car had a couple of liquid spillages, so I'd rather have the raised edge than the rubber mat... just not keen on the LR pricing
Thanks again.

I've had one for three years - mainly 'cos I have a dog in the back any time I'm driving. It fits perfectly, does the job it's supposed to do and was cheap as chips. It'll be delivered in a cardboard tube and you need to put it neara radiator in the house for it to get it's correct shape initially.

Hey up Darren.
Two things.
Firstly and more confusingly there's a fish and chip place in Holmfirth called Compos near our house and when you give people directions and say "do you know Compos" they invariably get the wrong place (the cafe with the fibreglass no-look-a-like-y is Sid's Cafe).
Secondly I bought one of these http://tinyurl.com/ylehmca when I wanted something along these lines as I was thinking about taking crap to the tip and it protects the sides a bit more. It also folds down onto the bottom tailgate as well when you open it.
It is actually in the garage at the moment (swapped cars recently and haven't put it back yet) so if you want you can pop over for a trial fit of it.
Cheers

I have one too. Does the job of keeping boot clean but is very thin and looks rather cheap (which it is). Dog not impressed as it can't grip on it so slides around the boot when cornering. That said, I find it easy to roll up when I need the rear seats up and despite its cheap look/feel, it's still in one piece after a year of abuse.

Ey Up...
Compo's..... yeah I know it well, don't rate the fish and chips though.... much better from Hollowgate !!! (think thats the name). Often come over if we can't be bothered cooking and local fish and chip shop is closed. Not been in recently (years) is it still a hole....
Thanks for the offer, really appreciated... think I'll be going with the rigid variety as I've had one on current vehicle and really saved my bacon a few times. Thanks again though...
While we're on though, have you done any good green lane'ing around Holmfirth/Saddleworth Moor ?? i.e. with minimal risk of bramble rash/expensive repairs.... (off topic again ???)
Cheers,
Darren.

They do a great cover that folds up into a wee bag for only 59.99 - it's made of tough canvas material - I used it to renovate a house - bricks and everything in it and no tears - very happy with this product
