I got some wheel cleaner from Alto service a while back. Works great comes in concentrate, mix with sis parts water. This is what they used to clean cars in for service. It is an acid, not sure which one though. So that may explain why lemon juice works. This stuff relly removes the brake dust, spay on with spay bottle, rinse off. Very Happy

Lots of car valet types use brick acid 50% and water - same stuff as most wheel cleaners....

or so I'm told. I use autoglym wheel cleaner, works for me.

Try washing it and never use it.......just admire the beauty.

Brake dust on the wheels is a pain in the a**e, but being such a pain and making the motor look manky you will probably wash it a bit more often and bring it back to it's glory.

The D3 only looks good in 2 ways.
Gleaming clean or Filty rotten dirty (No where in the middle looks good)

I use toothpaste and a small amount of water, apply using an old toothbrush.

Brings the wheels up a treat.
