Thanks Bud,
Sometimes you will receive many replies from a subject............other times maybe people think it is an old thread and don't want to reply, so you don't get to many answers.

I went with genuine pads recently, my reasoning being that there have been a few pad shape changes made by LR to eliminate various squealing/squeaking issues, and I wanted the latest option 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Just replaced my front pads with genuine LR ones and no probs at all. Also, they were no dearer supplied and fitted by my local LR dealer (after some negotiation!) than non genuine one fitted by my local garage.

Thanks Martin, searching with part numbers seems I need LR019626 & LR019627 plus the sensor if it needs doing.
For £190 (when they probably already had both wheels off for 60K service) the dealer will not be getting my custom...
I had new ones the other week by LR - they squeak. It's back in for something else next week, so I'll mention it to them as see what they say/do.Mark.
