Brake renewal reconmendations.
Recent service reported pads 70% worn with advisory disks thin and would also need replacing.
Having a quick look round would seem a set of genuine pads is almost as much as a Disk and pad set by Borg and Beck from Advanced Factors
Have tended to find in past that non genuine pads create a lot more brake dust and have lacked the feel genuine parts have.
Any experience of non genuine brake kits fitted out there D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

LR don't make pads or indeed any brake components, but they do buy quality brands before putting them in an expensive box. Mine came from the factory with Ferodo pads on Brembo discs, Brembo front callipers, TRW rear callipers pushed by a TRW master cylinder.
TRW reduced dust pads are my current favourites and worth the extra shekels.

I just DIY fitted front and rear disks and pads. I used the TRW OEM kits from Advanced Factors. It cost me a shade over £300 for parts, and about 5 hours of my time. That included a bit of wire brushing and painting of the calipers, and complete park brake strip and clean.
My old brakes were completely shot. Inner pads were the worst. Now the car stops much better, and there are no more droning noises (I suspect the noise was caused by the raised lips on the disks rubbing the metal edge of the pads)
The EPB is also much better. It was starting to let the car creep a little when in drive, and was definitely in need of attention. There was very little wear on the EPB shoes, after 60k miles. They cleaned up like new. They were very clagged up with dust though.
