I have all these symptoms

its a real worry when brakes don't hold on a hill
and one slowly goes backwards
I have put it into dealer today for service and to have this checked
dealer claims that my MY06 is not in the VIN range [?]

[at the last [100k] service discs and pads were replaced so may be another worrying something else]

shall report back

after the recall work the brake pedal feels different on mine. when engine running; stationary with Park; when I press the pedal firmly it feels ok for first moment and then slightly/slowly lowers another 1-2cm (doesnot go fully to bottom). I have not felt the same before the recall has been done - can anyone check and confirm.

On mine - there was no oil before the recall - so I assume they've change the pipes and the spring in the uppoer pupm valve.

Same impression with mine too evo8... Confused And same circumstances, as there was no oil before. Can't quite say it's 1-2cm, but the pedal does seem more spungy to the foot...

Anyone else have this?

Yep i can confirm that i also have this spongy feeling post the recall work. At first it is firm under foot then sinks a little, if i sit and apply the brakes its solid under foot then if apply a little more pressure then the pedal will sink down slowly but surely. Don't know if this is normal or not. Can't remember if it was like this before the recall work was done.

I will check the same on friend's D3 who is still without the recall work done - if it is the same or not.
