Nice Job Nikmac I wish I had the patience
Haha! Thanks mate, I hope I can keep it that way through the winter... Maybe my arms might fall off by then...

How about heading down the exotic route with your expanded portfolio?
I can offer you an orange Sargris and yellow Exige now that the track seasons finished.
Also have you thought of the socioeconomic consequences of your new career? That's one less job for your friendly local illegal immigrant.

Hi Nickmac
Can you give a masterclass on the Detailing terminology etc? I've got a sick mind obviously, as I really enjoy cleaning cars but I've only every used the basic stuff you get in the high street. I can normally make a pretty good job of it but yours looks really spectacular!

Hi Moo, I would love to expand my portfolio with your lineup! Please keep in touch and contact me if you would like me to detail your cars...
I'm doing a '60 plate Defender next week too!

Hi!
I wouldn't mind doing a masterclass on terminology, and I also wouldn't mind showing the techniques to using some of the material too. This is provided if there are any more people who would like to do this too!
Cheers,
Nick

I'd be prepared to chip in with some instruction & demos but most members here are the muddy type. Not overly sure how much interest there would be.
A few of the acronyms in this post
DA = Dual Action polisher. Like a dual action sander with a foam head instead of sandpaper
MEGS = Meguiars. A product range, rather good too. Polishes, compounds, waxes etc
Rotary = Rotary polishing machine. A bit like a 9" grinder but slower RPM.
Menz = Menzerna. A german product range. Damn fine too. Line standard for Mercedes.
LSP = Last Stage Protection, e.g. Wax, Sealant, co-polymer treatments etc.

If there are enough people interested, I could find a place to meet with water and electricity supply, not forgetting the bog facilities too!
I can also get the supplier whom I purchase most of my items from to sponsor a number of products for everyone to try.
