Bridgestone Dueler A/T 693 - any opinions?

Has anyone got these fitted? I'm looking at replacing my Grabber AT2's with them in a 265/65/17.

Car does around 4k a year, mostly on road - these tyres fall into the 'C' category for both Fuel and Wet grip, which seems slightly improved over the Grabber AT3s.

I'm sure others will reply in a while. I used to have Duellers on my Nissan Navara. They wore really well and I never had any real issues with poor grip in usual weather (didn't have any snow with them on).

On road they were fine, but off road they clogged up really quickly and were useless on slightly muddy/wet grass. Admittedly the Navara is a different beast to the Disco (the Navara snapped in half for a start Laughing ) but it was really poor with those tyres on off road. On road, I couldn't fault them for wear, noise, grip etc. If you're only using it on road then I'm sure they'd be fine and the Disco's trickery would probably help out off road too.

Hope that's some help.

Thanks for the feedback, especially about the mud/grass as that is the sort of non-tarmac stuff I'd be on..

I initially swapped to Cooper Discoverer AT/3 from Duellers and they were fine too. Better off road as well and looked more chunky.

They still got clogged up in boggy stuff, no where near as badly as the Duellers though, but managed most things well enough. With the Navara being light on the back end unless weighed down, it would often get stuck/struggle if I was trying to get up a slippery slope .

I eventually swapped to Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx which again were an improvement, but the fuel economy plummeted.

I'd have them again, but the Maxx might be overkill for the disco for what I do (edges of fields, dirt tracks, wet grass, bit of mud etc). I might plump for the AT/3 or the General Grabber alternative just because I like the look.
