Believe you can use it to read and clear codes but not to change anything

Two different views....

I'll be putting a new alternator in eldest sons Shogun so I want to read and clear faults once I'm finished - waiting for alternator delivery.

Other son has my generic reader so it's not to hand. Why don't they buy their own kit Rolling Eyes

I'll try the IID once I'm done and revert 👍

I can't find the OBD plug in this thing! Haven't looked very hard but the Alternator is working fine and no messages on the dash so hey, ho let it be to coin a phrase....👍

I couldn't get my head in there but son fitted the IID Tool.

The iPad found the tool OK but would not read anything. No worries as there do not seem to be any problems on road test Thumbs Up

Yes it did while connected but just said it couldn't connect over and over again.

I should've taken a screen shot. Raining and dark now so I'm not going back out to it and the car will probably get taken away later Whistle
