There is definately instructions for doing this on the forum, I found them when I did the same.
It's easy though, remove the grill 4 or 5 clips either two or three on the top and then one on each side in the middle.
Remove the head lights - lift the metal bars up behind the lights - two on each light ISTR
Undo all the screws for the bumper
You may need to remove the mud flaps to allow you to:
Remove the wheel arches (plugs hold these on, pull the centre plug to release and then the outter plug.
With the wheel arches removed you can then remove the final screws for the bumper. The bumper will then pull away from the car, remember to disconnect the wiring as well.
It is an easy job. I would suggest a little WD40 on the metal bars that hold the lights in place as these do tend to become stuck.
You'll definately find more info on here though.D3 HSE MY05 Auto

PM me an off forum mail address and I will send you the PDF diagram pronto !!!!

I do believe you don't need to strip the entire wheelarches off thoughSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Sump guard need to come off. You can just take half the arch off but may as well remove it all as its only a 2 min job.
Resistors still in the box
